The short version
No advertising. No third-party trackers. No cookies. No account, and nothing that tries to work out who you are. The fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google, so reading the site sends nothing to anyone but this site.
What is counted
Once per browsing session the site records two things: the hostname of wherever you came from, and which page you landed on. The hostname only — never the full address, which on a search engine or a forum would carry whatever was typed. These are kept as running totals per day. They cannot be taken apart into individual visits, and nothing in them identifies a person or a device.
Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts page views. It sets no cookie and does not fingerprint browsers.
If you turn on notifications
Allowing notifications stores the address your browser's push service gives out, along with the keys needed to encrypt a message to it. That address is not an email address and is not tied to your name. It is used to send the morning briefing and nothing else, it is never shared or sold, and turning notifications off removes it.
Polls, reactions and settings
Voting or reacting increases a number. Nothing is recorded about who did it — the one vote per device limit is kept in your own browser, not on a server. Your theme, text size and last-viewed club are also kept in your browser and never sent anywhere.
Hosting
The pages are served by GitHub Pages and the small API by Cloudflare Workers. Both keep short-lived operational logs of requests, as any web host does.
Your rights
Because nothing here identifies you, there is generally no personal data to give you a copy of or to delete. The exception is a notification subscription, which you can remove yourself by turning notifications off. If you want that done at this end instead, ask.
There is no contact address on the site yet. Until there is, the fastest route is a reply wherever you found it — the posts on Reddit are read.
